Saudi new instructions issued by the ministry : Pilgrims arrive at a mosque during the holy month of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia. Various instructions have been given by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for the pilgrims so that they do not face any kind of trouble. People are prohibited from carrying large amounts of cash with them.
People have been advised not to travel with large amounts of money with them to avoid financial loss. Authorities warned people through social media posts not to bring precious stones or more than $16,000 (SAR 60,000) in cash.
Apart from this, they have been informed about social fraud and have been asked to use registered banks and money exchange providers to avoid this. While transacting money, make sure that only registered channels are being used.
