Abu Dhabi: From August 1, Saudi citizens will be able to enter Ukraine without a visa and they will be allowed to stay in the country for 90 days. The Saudi Arabia embassy in Ukraine announced the exemption of entry visas for Saudi citizens.

The move is part of Ukraine’s policy of a visa-free regime for citizens of Australia, New Zealand and some Gulf countries and it also reflects the growing relations with the kingdom.

Ukraine ranks eighth in the world in terms of the number of tourists, according to the classification of the World Tourism Organization, as its territory includes the seven historical and cultural wonders.

It is also the second largest country in Eastern Europe, bordering the Russian Federation to the east, Belarus to the north, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary to the west, Romania and Moldova to the southwest, the Black Sea and the Azov Sea to the south, and is a member of the Commonwealth of Independent States of the former Soviet Union.

Saudi Arabia passport holders can now visit 45 countries visa free. These countries include Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and UAE.

Saudi Arabian passport holders also have access to get 29 e-visas or 22 visas on arrival
