Sharjah: Free parking has been announced in Sharjah in connection with the small festival. Parking in public areas will be free for the first three days of Eid-ul-Fitr. But parking zones with blue signage will continue to be charged. Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah Municipality, said that inspections will also be conducted on holidays to find violators.
Meanwhile, free parking has also been announced in Dubai in connection with the small festival. All public parking spaces except multi-level parking terminals will be free.

The Roads and Transport Authority has announced that free parking has been announced from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3. The authorities also announced on Friday that the parking fee will resume on Shawwal 4. If the festival is on the 10th of this month, parking charges will not be charged from April 8 to 12. Parking is free on Sundays in Dubai, giving motorists six consecutive days of free parking. But if the 9th is a festival, the parking will be free for only five days.
