As of Wednesday’s announcement, the emirate of Dubai will soon have a newly formed executive council. Under the leadership of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed will serve as deputies of this council.
Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum will lead a strategic affairs council in addition to the executive council.
