Sultan of Oman to Jordan for a two-day visit

Muscat: Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq left Muscat on Wednesday for Jordan on a two-day visit. During the visit, he will meet with King Abdullah II of Jordan. The visit is at the invitation of King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan.

The visit reflects the interest of both leaderships to promote bilateral relations and to achieve and advance the goals of both countries. The two leaders will discuss ways to work together in various fields, regional and international issues and current developments in the region.

Gen.

Hassan bin Mohsin Al Shuraikhi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, Lt. Gen. Zayed bin Ali Al Hilali, Chief of Internal Security Service, Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health of Oman, Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman, Major General Mattar bin Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman, Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hamad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasir Al Rahbi, Major General Musallam bin Mohammed Jaboub and the Commander of the Sultan’s Special Forces arrived at the Royal Oman Airport to see off the ruler, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.

Oman Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Diwan of Royal Court Minister Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuamani Minister of Royal Office, Oman Foreign Minister Sayyed Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Head of Private Office Dr. Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said will be accompanied by an eight-member high-ranking delegation including Hamad bin Said Al Awfi, Oman Investment Authority Chairman Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, and Sheikh Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al Ojaili, Oman’s ambassador to Jordan.
