RIYADH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed preparations for the upcoming ‘Expo 2030’ in Saudi Arabia with Dimitri Kerkentzes, Secretary General of the Bureau of International Exhibitions (BIE).
The Crown Prince discussed Saudi’s preparations and arrangements for hosting Expo 2030 during a meeting with the BIE chief during a meeting in Riyadh on Wednesday. Minister of State and Chief Executive Officer of the Riyadh Urban Royal Commission, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Sultan, and Public Investment Fund Governor Yasser Al-Rumayan were present.

Riyadh Expo 2030 will be held from October 2030 to March 2031 under the theme ‘Age of Change: Together for a Visionary Tomorrow’. The Crown Prince had earlier stated that the Expo event will be held in conjunction with the culmination of Vision 2030. The exhibition will be held near King Salman International Airport which is currently under development. Saudi Arabia’s aim in hosting the Expo is to provide an exceptional global experience to the participants and millions of visitors.
