The Game LLC obtains the first lottery license, to provide a range of games that meet the interests of players.
I announced General Authority for Regulating Commercial Games in the Emirates Sunday, the first lottery license was granted, which is the first license issued by the Authority.
This step is considered a new achievement for the Authority in establishing a solid system in the UAE for the commercial games sector, including: Lottery games, built on the principles of transparency, consumer protection, and encouraging responsible gaming practices.
The Game LLC’s First Lottery License
The Authority granted the first lottery license under the banner of “UAE Lottery” to “The Game LLC” (The Game LLC), which develops commercial games, game content, and lottery games, and will offer a wide range of its games, and will also work on designing a group of games that meet the interests and financial preferences of players, according to the Emirates News Agency.

“The launch of the UAE Lottery is a pivotal event that not only represents the establishment of a world-class regulatory framework for lottery activities, but also underscores our commitment to fostering a safe, secure and profitable commercial gaming environment in the UAE,” said Jim Morin, Chairman of the Authority.

Kevin Mulally, CEO of the Authority, stressed the Authority’s commitment to following the best international practices in the areas of consumer protection and regulatory oversight, noting that the Authority has established a regulatory framework that ensures the integrity, transparency and fairness of commercial games in the UAE, which includes: lottery games, by providing players with a comprehensive set of tools to monitor and manage their gaming activities.
He added, “The Authority is also working to benefit from modern technologies to provide an entertaining and safe gaming environment, while placing player protection at the top of our priorities.”
The General Authority for Regulating Commercial Games in the Emirates issued a comprehensive regulatory framework aimed at protecting players, the interests of all parties, and granting licenses to companies qualified to practice commercial games in the Emirates.
Severe penalties for companies participating in games without a license
The Authority indicated that the participation of companies in commercial gaming activities, including:lottery games, or managing or facilitating it within the United Arab Emirates without the approval of the General Authority for Regulating Commercial Games, is a violation of the law, and violators are subject to severe penalties.
Players participating in commercial games through unlicensed operators is also against the law, according to the Authority’s framework.
