A palanquin procession was taken out by the Hindu temple administration in the United Arab Emirates. Thousands of people from Hindu community participated in it. This temple was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent visit to the Gulf country.
This temple built by BAPS Swami Narayan Sanstha will be opened to the general public from March 1. The people participating in the yatra were seen in traditional Hindu attire. He was dancing in a devotional atmosphere. This yatra is undertaken before or after the inauguration of a temple.
Leena, a devotee, said that we were dancing around the temple. We have not seen this kind of enthusiasm before. She thanks the temple administration for opening it to the general public.
Officials associated with the temple announced on Tuesday that the temple will open from 9 am to 8 pm from March 1. It will remain closed on Monday. About Rs 700 crore was spent on its construction. It is spread over 27 acres. Stones taken from Rajasthan have been used in its construction.
