New speed limit will be implemented in Abu Dhabi: The new speed limit on the road is going to be implemented in Abu Dhabi from June 7. The authorities have informed that the new speed limit will be implemented on Umm Yafina Street from Al Reem Island to Sheikh Zayed Road (Al Qurum).

On Monday, the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police, in collaboration with the Integrated Transport Centre, informed that the speed limit has been changed and new signboards have been installed.

Appeal to all drivers to follow the rules

The authorities have appealed to all the drivers to follow the rules. According to media reports, a new speed limit will be imposed on Umm Yafina Street from Al Reem Island to Sheikh Zayed Road (Al Qurum) in both directions with effect from Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

Last time the speed limit on Al Reem Island was 100kmph. Abu Dhabi Police has not yet given information about the latest change.

Speed limit has changed on these roads

Recently, the speed limit has been changed on Al Falah Bridge on Sweihan Road in Abu Dhabi leading to Abu Dhabi International Airport. The new speed limit has been reduced from 140kmph to 120kmph, which has come into effect from June 4.
