An important information has been given regarding renewing the residence visa in UAE. It has been said that both your Emirates ID and residence visas remain linked. So if you are applying for renewal of residence visa, then Emirates ID must also be renewed. Apart from this, medical fitness test is also done.
That is, if your Emirates ID is not already renewed, then apply for the renewal of residency visa only after renewing it.
When can I renew Emirates ID?
You have to renew Emirates ID within 30 days after it expires. If not renewed on time, a fine of Dh20 per day is levied.
30 days grace period is given
Please note that there is a grace period of 30 days after the expiry of the visa. That is, you can stay in UAE even 30 days after the expiry of the residence visa. Even after this, if the visa is not renewed, a fine of Dh25 per day is imposed.
