These subsidiaries aim to stimulate innovation in the field of waste management and recycling, reflecting the commitment Recycling group, by converting waste into valuable resources.
The objectives of the Emirati Tadweer Group for establishing subsidiaries
This strategic move aims to support decarbonization and enhance Circular economy and using advanced technologies to harness untapped resources.
Tadweer Environmental Services and Solutions will focus on general waste collection activities, including contract tendering and performance management through the use of digital solutions.
Tajmeel’s contributions to the portfolio will come from its pioneering pre-collection and collection activities, in addition to excellence in customer service.
UpCycle will bring innovation and expertise to the group, with a focus on integrating advanced technology with waste treatment and recycling centres.
This supports operations related to the recently announced new Materials Recovery Facility.
Tahweel’s capabilities will bring accelerated waste conversion technology and investment to the group’s portfolio, helping to develop the waste-to-energy plant and the group’s waste-to-value projects.
The establishment of the four companies represents a revolution in waste management.

Promote the use of technologies and create added value
Each subsidiary will play a pivotal role in Tadweer Group’s strategy by enhancing the use of existing and emerging technologies, as well as enhancing value creation, and supporting the Group’s progress towards its ambition of diverting 80% of waste from landfills by 2030.
This announcement comes on the heels of the group’s first acquisition of “EnviroServe“Innovator in the field of electronic waste, it is the only integrated center for treating electronic waste in the Middle East, Africa and the Caucasus region.
The group also recently announced progress on the establishment of the first-ever dedicated facility in Abu Dhabi to recover and extract valuable recyclable materials from waste.
