Washington news: According to a count kept by Johns Hopkins University, The United States registered 1,225 coronavirus related deaths on Friday.
The country’s total positive cases now stand at a whopping 102,798 since the global Covid-19 pandemic began.

The country has officially recorded 1,745,606 overall cases of the Covid-19 disease, far greater than any other country in the world, the tracker kept by the Baltimore-based university displayed at 8:30 pm (0030 GMT Saturday).
