WHO appeals for strict ban, most cases of infection in last 24 hours

Geneva. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the highest number of coronavirus cases were reported on Sunday. More than 183,000 new cases occurred in 24 hours worldwide. According to the United Nations Health Agency, 54,771 cases were reported in Brazil. There were 36,617 cases in the United States, with more than 15,400 cases in India. The organization says that the infection is spreading rapidly due to the removal of strict lockdown.

Experts say the cause of increasing cases includes the most extensive testing as well as the spread of infection. Around 9,051,398 cases have been reported worldwide. At the same time, 470,795 have died.

The situation in America is very bad. US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he has asked his administration to slow down the investigation of COVID-19 as too many cases of infection are coming up. Trump told his supporters at an election rally that the United States had so far investigated 25 million people, which is much higher than any other country. According to data from John Hopkins University, more than 1,20,000 people have died in the United States so far from this epidemic.

The Brazilian Ministry of Health said that total cases increased by more than 50,000 in one day. The general public resentment of President Jair Bolsonaro is increasing. Most of the corona cases are being reported here. So far 1,086,990 cases and 50,659 people have died here.
