Abu Dhabi: There is a possibility of strong dust storm in Abu Dhabi. Officials said people in some areas of the emirate should be extra cautious.
The weather will be dusty at times as wind speeds of 10 – 20 to 35 km per hour are likely to blow over the country. Dust may affect visibility. The National Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for Al Ruwais, Al Mirfa, Habshan, Sila and some parts of Liwa due to the dust storm. The warning issued at 9.30am today will remain in effect until 4pm local time. Abu Dhabi Police advised motorists to be cautious.
