Approved Railway system rules According to the newspaper Am Villages The rules of operation of the Railway System Violations Review Committee and its executive regulations reveal a maximum fine of 10 million riyals for the first time violation of the system, and does not exceed 20 million riyals in the event of repetition. The penalty, including the value of the fine, is determined according to the violation and its severity in each case, in accordance with the controls specified in the regulations.
Article Twenty “Article Twenty on Penalties” states the following:
1- When considering violations, the committee must study each violation individually and from all its aspects, and if the violation is proven, it shall determine the appropriate penalty for it.
2- The fine imposed by the committee in accordance with the system shall not exceed ten million Saudi riyals, and in the event of repetition, it shall not exceed twenty million Saudi riyals. The penalty, including the value of the financial fine, shall be determined according to the violation and its severity in each case individually, in accordance with the controls specified in the regulation.
3- The committee must refer to its records to find out whether the violator has previously committed any violation, and what has been taken regarding it, in order to take these precedents into consideration when determining the penalty.
