Three immigrants arrested.
According to the information, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested 21 intruders for trying to enter the Sultanate illegally. A statement released online by the Royal Oman Police said 21 intruders were arrested on a boat smuggled by Coast Guard boats led by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police. The boat was located on one of the Governor’s beaches and legal procedures are still being completed against the intruders.

In addition, three immigrants have been arrested for possessing and trading large quantities of tobacco and alcoholic beverages in the concession areas.

The Royal Oman Police said the Oil and Gas Facilities Security Police Command arrested three immigrants on charges of possessing and trading large quantities of tobacco and alcoholic beverages in concession areas and legal action was being taken against them.
