Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced the inauguration of a new 25-bed medical isolation facility for patients suspected of Covid-19 and for those who tested positive of the virus as a precautionary measure to tackle the pandemic.
Housed in a different building in an area close to Rashid Hospital, the isolation facility which is of 1500-metre in size, is well equipped to the highest standards. The 25 rooms include treatment rooms, ICU rooms, isolation rooms, examination rooms and clinics.
Humaid Al Qutami, Director General of DHA, while touring the new facility, said – the new medical isolation ward was buit as a precautionary measure to give more power to the DHA’s efforts in fighting coronavirus pandemic and ensuring best treatment of patients who have virus infection and facilitating speedy recovery.
