RIYADH: Insurance policy sales jobs in Saudi Arabia are now only for Saudi nationals. The Naturalization Act came into effect from April 15. The Ministry’s move to implement this decision in collaboration with the Insurance Authority is aimed at creating employment opportunities for Saudi citizens and improving the financial performance of the insurance sector.

After the decision of indigenization came into effect, only natives can now do the work of selling insurance policies. This will significantly affect foreigners working in the country. Foreigners can work in the non-sales sector but will not be allowed to accept commissions related to insurance policy sales, the ministry said.
