Atma Nirbhar Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Abhiyan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi ( pm modi ) launched ‘Self-reliant Uttar Pradesh Rozgar Abhiyan’ on Friday, 26 June. Employment for Migrant Workers will be provided to more than one crore migrant laborers under the self-sufficient Uttar Pradesh Employment Campaign. The 125-day self-reliant Uttar Pradesh Employment Campaign will provide employment to laborers returning from 116 districts in 6 states. There will be 25 different kinds of work in this campaign, in which the laborers will work. The government has set a budget of Rs 50,000 crore for this campaign.

- About 32,300 gram panchayats of 31 districts of Uttar Pradesh have been included in the Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan. These districts include Gorakhpur, Siddharthnagar, Basti, Prayagraj, Sultanpur, Gonda, Maharajganj, Bahraich, Balrampur, Jaunpur, Hardoi, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli, Azamgarh, Kushinagar, Santakbirnagar, Banda, Ambedkarnagar, Sitapur, Varanasi, Gazipur , Lakhimpur Kheri, Unnao, Shravasti, Fatehpur, Mirjapur, Jalaun and Kaushambi.
- Over 30 lakh migrant laborers have returned to Uttar Pradesh from other states. Skill mapping has been done to provide work to all laborers under the campaign. That is, they will be given employment based on the work of the workers.
- As this campaign will have different types of work. It has workers associated with construction, real estate, plumbing, security guards, tailoring workers, handicrafts, couriers, salesmen.
- Apart from migrant laborers, local laborers and workers have also been included in this campaign. The government says that the people who have returned to Uttar Pradesh have also been linked to different work.
- The Uttar Pradesh government has also included Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) and Small Industries (MSMEs) in this campaign.
