A veteran Bahraini football player died early this morning.
Defender Faisal Abdulaziz lost his long battle with illness. He was 52.
Mr Abdulaziz used to play as a forward for Muharraq early in his career.
He also captained Bahrain’s national team when it finished fourth in the 2004 AFC Asian Cup in China.
