    At the same time, the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has accused the Indian media of baseless propaganda against the Government of Nepal and its Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The former Deputy Prime Minister of the country and the spokesperson of the ruling NCP, Narayan Kazi Shrestha, said that the Indian media has crossed all the limits of campaigning against the Nepal government and our PM KP Sharma Oli.

    Nepal government criticizes such acts

    It is being told that the news criticizing PM KP Sharma Oli and his government was prominently featured on Indian channels. This step has been taken after this. Finance, Information and Communications Minister Yuvraj Khatiwada condemned some of the news broadcast by Indian news channels. He said during a media interaction that the Nepal government criticized such acts. The government will consider the legal aspects of such content.

    Nepal’s national sentiments are hurt

    Foreign channel distributor Dinesh Subedi says that all Indian news channels, except Doordarshan, have been banned from airing. He said that broadcasting of private news channels of India has been stopped. The content of these channels has hurt the national sentiments of Nepal. However, the Nepal government has not made any such announcement.
