According to this law, workers are prohibited from working for a selected period of time during the summer. This rule is implemented in all Gulf countries including Oman, UAE, Qatar.

Order issued in the Ministry of Labor
This rule has been implemented in Oman. At the same time, this work ban is going to be implemented soon in UAE. In Qatar also, the Ministry of Labor has announced a work ban. There will be a ban on workers working during this period during the summer.
Work ban has been made to protect workers from heat stroke during summer. This rule of work ban will be applicable from June 1, 2023 till September 15. Workers will be prohibited from working from 10 am to 3:30 pm.
