- Thoughts on biological safe environment
The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) will give detailed standard operating procedure to the eight franchises regarding the Indian Premier League (IPL) to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), but all concerned want answers to some questions in the coming days. It is understood that all the franchises will start sending their ‘special teams’ to the Emirates, so that they can take stock of the facilities and find out what kind of organic safe environment can be created.
The board will have to answer some questions in SOP. The first question is about the family of the players. The top official of a franchise said that it would be wrong to keep players away from their wives or family for two months. He said, ‘At normal times wives or girlfriends can come with the players, but the situation is different now. If the family also goes with him, he will stay in the hotel room or can come in normally.
He said, ‘Some players also have small children, so how to keep them in the room for two months’. Usually cricket teams stay in five-star hotels, but it will be difficult to arrange such a large number, where apart from the players, ordinary guests cannot come to the hotel.
The official said, ‘Not every team can compete with Mumbai Indians. He has a private jet and can take doctors from his super specialty hospital. Full five-star hotels can be rented, but the rest will have to see what is best for them. Maybe beach resort. ‘
