New Delhi Bollywood celebrities have condemned the attack on TV journalist Arnab Goswami and his wife by unknown people. Celebs also demanded the government to make arrangements for Arnab’s security. At the same time, a police complaint has been filed in the case and two people have also been arrested.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar condemned the attack on TV journalist Arnab Goswami. At the same time, some Bollywood celebs also condemned the attack on Arnab. Film producer Madhur Bhandarkar tweeted, “I strongly condemn the attack on Arnab Goswami, Chief of Republic TV”.
Anupam Kher tweeted, “I strongly condemn the attack on Arnab Goswami and his wife.” The country has changed friends. This is not going to happen. Arnab! Crores of people of the country are your armor. None of your hair can be dandy. Jai Ho!!’
Arnab has given information about the attack on himself through a video. Arnab told, ‘He and his wife were going home from office at around 12:15 pm. Two bike riders overtook his car on the Ganpatrao Kadam route and blocked his path.
In the video, Arnab further said, ‘He was constantly chasing my car. He stopped his bike after going a short distance. I thought his bike was damaged, so I also put my car on the side. After this, a bike rider landed and hit my side window with something. He was trying to break the glass. When the glass did not break, they started throwing liquid filled bottles on my car. They were also abusing people. ‘
