The total count of confirmed cases rose to 438,238, only to be second to the US in the total number of confirmed cases.
Brazil registered a daily highest number of 26,417 new covid-19 cases on Thursday. As per to the Ministry of Health, the total number of cases now stands at 438,238, second to the United States in confirmed infection cases.
Also, the death toll in Brazil’s rose 1,156 from a day before to 26,754 confirmed deaths from the coronavirus infection, just short of a record 1,188 deaths recorded on May 21.
