Business activities will resume from 6am to 11pm starting from May 27, across the emirate.
Dubai: The announcement of reopening business activities across the emirate came after a virtual meeting of Dubai’s Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, Chairman of the Executive Council and Crown Prince of Dubai.
Here’s what’s re-opening:
- Retail stores and wholesale outlets.
- Dubai airport will only be open for people who want to enter the UAE and for transit.
- Clinics including ENT.
- Medical surgeries that take less than two-and-a-half hours.
- Training institutes and treatment centers for children.
- Sport academies, places with indoor sport arenas and gyms.
- Cinemas, while following social distancing and sterilization rules.
- Recreational places such as Dubai Ice Rink and Dubai Dolphinarium.
- Auctions held online.
Sheikh Hamdan stressed on the need for Dubai government to further raise awareness in people about precautionary measures. Fully adhering to guidelines is important to restoring normal life, he added.
