Muscat: Civil Aviation Authority Chairman Nayef Al Abri said that six new airports will be built in Oman. He stated this while speaking at the Future Aviation Forum in Riyadh.

The construction of the Musandam airport is in its final stages and is expected to be completed by the second half of 2028. Naif Al Abri said that the airport will be equipped to handle medium commercial aircraft such as Boeing 737 and Air 320. The new terminal will be able to handle 20 million passengers annually.
