Saudi Arabia to open Prophet's Mosque to public gradually from Sunday

The worshipers might be allowed to enter the mosque from Fajr prayers on Sunday morning.

From May 31, Sunday Prophet’s Mosque in the holy city of Madinah will gradually open to the public announced by Saudi Arabia.

According to a report in the Saudi Gazette, As part of the State’s plans to ease coronavirus restrictions and reopen the country. The King Salman has approved opening the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah in stages to the public.

With a limit of 40 percent, the worshipers can be allowed to enter the mosque from fajr prayers on Sunday morning (Shawwal 8).

The reopening of mosques will be undertaken in accordance with the guidance of Dr. Abdullatif Al Asheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, and in line with advice issued by the Senior Council of Ulemas.
