Dubai prepares to reopen mosques with coronavirus safety rules

Ahead of the official announcement, IACAD has put up circulars at mosques listing new guidelines.

Dubai is getting ready to reopen the doors of the mosque (and that of other mosques). However, no date has been announced to open the mosque to the public.

However, to bring awareness about the mosques at the time of the announcement guidelines and precautions have been issued.

Posters have been put up in some mosques which should be followed by worshipers at the time of opening the mosque.

The guidelines make it clear that even if the mosque is open, the women’s prayer rooms will remain closed until further notice. Children (below 12 years) and people above the age of 60 will not be allowed to come to the mosques for prayers for their own safety.
