Ban on movement within, outside Abu Dhabi; restrictions in malls, restaurants, beaches eased

The ban which will be imposed from Tuesday, June 2, will be there for a one week.

The ongoing movement inside and outside Abu Dhabi along with movements between the emirate’s regions of Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafrah and Al Ain has been banned by the authorities for a week. This ban was announced on Sunday as the government is still fighting the spread of Covid-19.

The Abu Dhabi media office said – the ban will come into effect from Tuesday, June 2, will be there for a week.

This restriction applies to all residents of UAE, and only those working in important sectors and possessing special permits are exempted from this ban.
