Europe remains the continent hardest hit by the pandemic

Paris: More than six million positive cases of coronavirus have been officially reported globally, two thirds of them in the United states and Europe, according to an AFP tally on Saturday.

There were around 6,000,867 cases of coronavirus registered and 366,848 deaths, as of 2015 GMT. With 2,135,170 cases and 177,595 deaths, Europe is one continent which is hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.

While, the United States is the country worst-hit by the virus, with 1,760,740 cases and 103,472 deaths. But the worry is that, now virus is spreading at a really fast pace in Latin America, with more than 45,000 cases recorded in the last 24 hours, reaching a total of 944,695 cases and 49,230 deaths.
