World’s worst-hit country passes a grim milestone, with belief actual toll is higher
Johns Hopkins reported on Wednesday that more than 100,000 coronavirus-related deaths issue the United States has recorded now and by far the highest total in the world.
Approximately three months ago the country reported its first death. Since then, nearly about 1.7 million infections had been tallied national.
Many people have been killed by the Coronavirus than the AIDS epidemic did from 1981 via 1989. The COVID-19 Tracking Project, a volunteer-run effort to track the outbreak.
Experts say the actual number of deaths and infections is believed to be higher.
