- According to Beijing health officials, a 47-year-old delivery man transported food to several people in the area from June 1 to June 17. It includes many districts like Daxing, Fangshen, Fengtai etc. The delivery boy’s corona has been found to be test positive. Administration is checking the delivery boy’s history. Corona infects are being identified at the consignment sites. Their samples are being taken.
This is the first case of corona virus in China’s food delivery industry. According to officials, in the last few weeks, the person had delivered 50 orders daily. Significantly, 29 new cases have been reported before the Health Department of China on Tuesday. Of these, 13 cases have been found in Beijing alone. In addition, 249 corona infectives continue to be treated. According to the National Health Commission of China, of the 29 new cases, seven are non-symptomatic. At the same time, 99 non-symptomatic patients have also been examined till Monday. From June 11 to June 22, there have been more than 200 cases of corona virus in Beijing. All are being treated in the hospital.
