DIP Holding Sets IPO Price at Dhs1.12 per Share, Valuing Firm at Dhs9.7bn

DIP Holding, the publicly listed arm of Dubai Investments, confirmed a final issue price of Dhs1.12 per share on Wednesday, putting the company’s market value at roughly Dhs9.7bn ($2.6bn) as it prepares for a Dubai Financial Market debut on 11 November.

The float consists of 1,735,243,300 existing shares, which amount to 20% of the total issued capital, and is expected to raise about Dhs1.9bn ($529m). All proceeds will flow to Dubai Investments, which will retain an 80% ownership stake after the transaction closes.

The price was set following a book‑building process, with the subscription period ending on 3 November.

According to the prospectus, the offering was oversubscribed several times, attracting interest from investors across the local, regional and international spectrum, though the exact subscription multiple was not disclosed.

Khalid Jassim bin Kalban, chairman of DIP Holding and vice‑chairman and chief executive of Dubai Investments, said the pricing reflected strong demand and the parent’s intention to give new shareholders an appealing entry point and dividend yield.

He also noted that this listing marks the first UAE IPO of 2026.

The company outlined a dividend policy that targets annualised cash payouts of Dhs700m for 2026, rising to Dhs750m by 2028, which translates to an estimated 7.5% yield based on the final offer price.

The inaugural post‑IPO dividend of Dhs350m is slated for April 2027, covering the second half of 2026, meaning eligible shareholders will receive a full six‑month distribution despite the listing date.

Subsequent dividends are planned at Dhs362.5m in October 2027 and another Dhs362.5m in April 2028, followed by two equal instalments of Dhs375m each in October 2028 and April 2029. From 2029 onward, the company aims to keep annualised dividends at or above the 2028 level, subject to board recommendation and shareholder approval.

Successful applicants in the individual, eligible employee and eligible Dubai Investments shareholder tranches will be notified of their final allocations via SMS on 10 November, with any excess subscription funds to be refunded the same day.

The completion of the offering and the scheduled listing remain contingent on market conditions and the necessary regulatory clearances in the UAE.
