US President says ‘we’re certainly not happy with China’. Gives no other details about his future plans.
US President Donald Trump to hold a press conference on Friday that is today on issues related to China. This is during increased US-Chinese tensions over the coronavirus fallout and Hong Kong.
“The US be announcing tomorrow what will be the plan of action with respect to China.” In the Oval Office meeting on Thursday, he further said “we’re not pleased with China,” but gave no specific information about his plans.
According to diplomatic sources, the press conference will be organised on the same day when Britain and the United States want the UN Security Council to hold an informal meeting behind the doors to discuss the situation of Hong Kong.
