Investment opportunities with the development of Al Mamzar and Jumeirah 1 beaches in Dubai for 355 million dirhams
More than 50 distinct investment opportunities are available, such as activity rental Watercolor, sales outlets, commercial kiosks, restaurants, self-service machines for selling food and drinks, advertising spaces, seating areas and beach umbrellas, with the Supreme Urban Planning Committee in the Emirate of Dubai recently announcing the awarding of two contracts for the development of Al Mamzar and Jumeirah (1) beaches, with a length of 5.7 kilometers for the two beaches, including 4.3 kilometers. In Al Mamzar Beach, and 1.4 km in Jumeirah (1), the cost of the two projects is estimated at about 355 million dirhams, according toEmirates News Agency WAM.
This comes in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to develop public beaches in the Emirate of Dubai, to be among the best beaches in the world, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President. The Executive Council, and His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
A new tourist destination
The two projects, which will take 18 months to complete, represent a qualitative shift in the design of beaches, as radical changes will be implemented according to integrated future plans that aim to change the appearance of the beaches and enhance their infrastructure to be the most advanced and attractive in the world, which will represent a new recreational tourist destination to host the increasing numbers of beachgoers and beach lovers. Practicing beach and water sports and night swimming, providing an ideal experience for residents, tourists and visitors alike on the beaches of Dubai, one of the best tourist destinations in the emirate.

Public beach development projects in the Al Mamzar and Jumeirah (1) areas fall within the ongoing efforts to develop sustainable infrastructure for all coastal and beach facilities, in line with the objectives of the comprehensive plan to develop public beaches in Dubai, and provide them with new recreational, sports, aesthetic and investment facilities, in accordance with the highest international standards.
The project supports Dubai’s efforts to provide a city with integrated entertainment and tourism facilities, and to provide the best in terms of quality of life and well-being for residents and visitors in the emirate, in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Urban Plan 2040, in addition to the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, which aims to make… Dubai is the world’s leading city in quality of life, enhancing its leadership and attractiveness as a vibrant city, and consolidating its position as the best city to live, work and visit in the world, and one of the most prominent global destinations for beach tourism.
The project provides a unique global model in designing beaches and enhancing the capacity of beachgoers, in line with the population and tourism growth of the emirate, as the beaches will be equipped with a comprehensive infrastructure of advanced future services and facilities, most notably the allocation of the first beach for night swimming 24/7 in the Deira area with a length of 300 meters, and a path. A 5-km-long pedestrian walkway borders the two beaches, and 11-km-long cycling and running paths surrounded by trees, in addition to the construction of a 200-meter-long floating bridge linking both sides of Al Mamzar Beach, which is the first of its kind in the emirate.
