Dubai: 1.58 lakh golden visas were issued in Dubai last year. This was revealed by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). The Director General of GDRFA, Lt. General Muhammad Ahmed Al Marri said.
The total number of visa holders in 2022 was 79,617. In 2021, it was 47,150. The figures show that the number of people getting golden visa is increasing every year. Individuals who have excelled in various fields, academics who are high achievers , property sector bidders have started to invest in certain sectors. A visa with a duration of 10 years is allowed.
