Dubai attracts 24 multinational companies in 6 months

Dubai Chamber International has successfully supported the expansion of 34 companies operating in Dubai into global markets during the first half of 2024

Attracted Dubai International Chamber, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, 86 diverse companies, including multinationals, small and medium-sized enterprises, during the first half of this year, compared to 56 companies attracted during the same period in 2023, with a growth of 54% in the number of companies it succeeded in attracting.

A press release issued today stated that the list of companies attracted by the Chamber during the first half of this year included 24 multinational companies, compared to 8 companies attracted during the same period last year, with a growth of 200%, in addition to 62 small and medium-sized enterprises, with a growth of 29% compared to 48 companies during the same period in 2023.

During the first half of 2024, the Chamber succeeded, through its qualitative programs, initiatives and external offices, in supporting the expansion of 34 companies operating in Dubai to global markets, through exporting to these markets or by establishing a direct presence in them, compared to 15 companies whose expansion was supported during the first half of last year, with a growth rate of 127%.

It has attracted Dubai International Chamber37 diverse companies ranging from multinationals to small and medium-sized companies During the first quarter From 2024, compared to 25 companies attracted during the same period in 2023, a growth of 48%.

The list of companies attracted by the Chamber during the first quarter of this year included:

  • 8 multinational companies, compared to 5 companies attracted in the same period last year, a growth of 60%.
  • 29 small and medium enterprises compared to 20 companies in the same period in 2023, a growth of 45%.

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai Chamber International, said: “The Chamber is keen to enhance the role of the Chamber’s network of foreign offices, which includes 31 offices, in introducing the competitive advantages enjoyed by Dubai, which consolidates its position as a preferred destination for foreign direct investment, and a global economic capital for growth and opportunities in all sectors, in addition to supporting the expansion of companies operating in the emirate in promising foreign markets with the aim of contributing to achieving sustainable growth for the local business community.”
