Dubai: All private educational institutions like schools, universities and nurseries in Dubai have announced a short Eid holiday. The holiday was announced by the Knowledgeable Human Development Authority (KHDA).
A seven-day holiday has been announced. Holidays will be available from Monday, April 8 to Saturday, April 14. Classes will resume after the holiday on Monday, April 15. Including Saturday and Sunday weekend holidays, educational institutions will get a total of nine days off.

The UAE government has announced a week-long short festive holiday for public sector employees. If weekend holidays are also taken into account, a total of nine days long leave will be received. Holidays will be available from Monday, April 8 to Sunday, April 14. Working hours will resume from April 15. Those working in the private sector will get four days of festive leave.
