Dubai Hotel Occupancy Jumped to 90.8% During February

The highest occupancy levels in Dubai hotels were recorded during the days 20, 21 and 22 February, at 96.2%, 96.8% and 96.5%, respectively.

Occupancy levels in Dubai hotels increased by 3.4% last February and reached about 90.8%, according to data issued byCoStar company.

Co Star said that revenues per room in Dubai hotels rose by 13.1%, to record 805.21 dirhams last February.

The data indicated that the highest levels of occupancy in Dubai hotels were recorded during the days 20, 21 and 22 February, at rates of 96.2%, 96.8% and 96.5%, respectively.

During the entire month of February, daily occupancy levels in Dubai hotels were higher than 80%, and the highest price per room was on February 21 at 1,114 dirhams.

Many events and conferences hosted by the Emirate of Dubai during the month of February helped increase occupancy rates in hotels, and among these events was the Beach Soccer World Cup, which was held between 15 and 25 February last year.

Among the events that Dubai witnessed and helped increase hotel occupancy rates were the Gulfood exhibition, which was held between February 19 and 23, and the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships between February 18 and March 2.
