- Dubai. A Pakistani couple was brutally murdered by an Indian couple in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Not only that, the person also injured the teenage daughter of the deceased.According to media reports, a Pakistani businessman and a Pakistani man, who was killed in Dubai on June 18, had entered his villa with the intention of stealing. The couple have been identified as Hiren Adhia and his wife Vidhi Adhia. Gulf News in its report on Tuesday said that Dubai Police has arrested a Pakistani man in the murder of an Indian couple. The report states that at the time of the murder of 40-year-old Hiren and his wife Vidhi, both their children aged 13 and 18 were present at the house. When his elder daughter came in front of the accused, he also stabbed her and injured her.

The report states that the accused worked at the Adhia family’s home two years ago. Later he came to their villa to loot cash and jewelry when he became unemployed.Brigadier Jamal Al Jalaf, director of the Criminal Investigation Department of Dubai Police, has told that the couple’s daughter gave information about the murder of her parents and called the police. According to the police, “the police and forensic team rushed to the spot and started the investigation. The Indian Consul General of Dubai has identified the deceased couple.”Police have said after preliminary investigation that while the whole family was sleeping, the accused sneaked into the villa. He then stole a wallet containing 2,000 dirhams (Rs 41,229). After this he entered the bedroom and started searching for valuables.

Brigadier Al Jalaf has further told that while businessman Hiren woke up, the attacker stabbed him. After hearing this, Hiren’s wife also woke up and the Pakistani man attacked her with a knife. He kept stabbing until he died.
Meanwhile, his 18-year-old daughter Jagi and saw her parents dead, shouted. He also attacked the girl and escaped. The girl immediately informed the police about the incident. Police reached the spot, recovered the knife about a kilometer away and then arrested the accused. Consul General Vipul said while talking to Gulf News that the incident is very unfortunate and the couple’s friends are being contacted.
