Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zangana was exposed to a fierce campaign by the United States, as the circle of sanctions imposed on him was expanded, and thus he was on the black list in America.

This came in a statement issued by the US Treasury, confirming a set of sanctions that also include a number of oil companies and institutions, in addition to a number of Iranian people.

According to what Russia Today channel published, the ministry’s statement included the imposition of a ban on two oil tankers related to the National Iranian Oil Company with the knowledge of Honduras and Panama.

For his part, Zangana’s response to the statement issued by the US government regarding imposing the embargo and sanctions, referring to this statement, came as a response to Washington’s defeat to the decline in Iranian oil exports to zero.

Zangana stressed that the new sanctions imposed on him and his country will not stop the Iranian oil industry in any way.

He added, “My soul, my money and my face water are a sacrifice for Iran, and the era of unilateralism in the world has ended and the Iranian oil industry will not stop.

It is worth noting that the United States of America has imposed a blockade on Iran, since the end of the UN arms embargo on the capital, Tehran, as the administration of US President Trump was seeking to extend it, but all its attempts were unsuccessful.

It is noteworthy that last September, Zangana had indicated that the US sanctions imposed by it were nothing but a bloodless war, after indications of the economy’s decline and its weakness sharply appeared, as oil exports were limited during the past two years, and Zangana had called on OPEC member states. To not use oil as a tool of pressure and as a form of sanctions against oil-producing countries.

As a result of the sanctions imposed by the United States of America on Iran, the size of the economic losses incurred by Iranian oil is very large, as Iran’s production of crude oil has been reduced to an average of 1.9 million barrels per day, compared to 3.8 million barrels before the sanctions.

In addition to the oil crisis, the Corona pandemic is another pressure factor on the Iranian economy, which constitutes severe blows on the Iranian currency market that is declining.
