This partnership is an important step towards achieving ADQ’s goals to diversify its investment portfolio and support sustainable development in the United Arab Emirates and beyond.

The most prominent features of the partnership between ADQ and Bellinari are:

  • ADQ acquired a 49% stake in Bellinary, including all shares previously owned by the Canadian pension fund Caisse des Deposits et Employments du Québec – CDPQ.
  • Supporting Bellinari’s ambitions and enhancing its growth in its key markets in Australia, the Middle East, Asia, the United Kingdom and Europe.
  • Establishing a joint investment platform focusing on investment opportunities in public and social infrastructure projects in regions with high growth opportunities, such as the GCC region, the Middle East and Central Asia.
  • Enhancing ADQ’s proven track record in investing in infrastructure assets, which contributes to accelerating the pace of economic development in the UAE and beyond.
