Japan has officially introduced the e-visa scheme which will be beneficial for many countries including Indians. The e-Visa scheme is specially introduced for those arriving by air to Japan. Single entry allows you to stay in Japan for up to 90 days.
It is very beneficial for those who want to make a short visit to Japan. Countries like Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, UAE, UK, USA are eligible for e-Visa. Indian citizens and foreigners residing in India are eligible for e-Visa.

How to Apply
Visit the Japan eVisa website. Select the required visa for your trip and submit the required documents. Enter required information for online visa application. Your visa application result will be sent to the registered email address. Visa fee can also be submitted online. E-Visa is available after payment. Applicants will be requested to appear in person at the Japanese diplomatic establishment under the jurisdiction of the applicant’s place of residence for an interview during the application process.
