56,000 pregnant women die every year

It is known that every year in India, more than 56,000 women die due to problems and diseases during pregnancy. The government introduced this scheme to bring conditions for improvement. So that women in such condition can get help. Under this scheme, Rs. 6000 is given directly to the pregnant woman in her bank account upon delivery.

This scheme is also applicable in various states of the country. This amount of help in this scheme is given according to providing adequate nutrition to the mother and child. The scheme aims to strengthen women financially so that they can take care of themselves as well as their newborn. Its main objective is to provide cash incentives to pregnant and lactating mothers for better health and nutrition.

According to the information, more than one crore women are getting help annually from Janani Suraksha Yojana. The government is spending Rs 1600 crore annually on JSY.

How much profit

Under Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY), the government provides financial assistance of six thousand rupees to every pregnant woman to encourage delivery in government hospitals. Under the Janani Suraksha Yojana, pregnant women in rural areas are given Rs 1,400 and women in urban areas are given a thousand rupees, while under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana they get another five thousand rupees. For five years after delivery, they keep getting messages about the vaccination of mother-child.

Help is available in these three installments

* First installment- This installment is ₹ 1000 which is provided at the time of registration during pregnancy.

* Second installment- This installment is given 6 months after pregnancy and before delivery. In the second installment, the beneficiary gets ₹ 2000.

* Third installment- The third installment is available after the birth of the child and its registration and completion of the first cycle of all vaccinations. Under this, ₹ 2000 is given to the beneficiary.




* An additional benefit of ₹ 1000 is given to the woman during the delivery itself under Janani Suraksha Yojana.

Know how to apply

– To avail Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana, you can apply offline, this scheme cannot be applied online.
– Pregnant women will have to fill three forms (first form, second form, third form) for application in this scheme.
First of all, pregnant women go to the Anganwadi and nearby health center, take the first form for registration and submit all the information asked in it.
After this, you should go to the Anganwadi and nearby health center and submit the second form, third form from time to time and submit the same.
After filling the three forms, the Anganwadi and nearby health center will give you a slip. You can download the application form of Pregnant Assistance Scheme 2020 from the official website http://wcd.nic.in/ of the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
