Since early May, Soldiers have been deployed in the remote Ladakh region in the Himalayas.
The Foreign Ministry said on Thursday said India is in talks with China to deal with the most raging border dispute in recent years. US President Donald Trump’s offer to mediate in the matter.
China is accused of moving thousands of their troop into sensitive areas of Himalayan region, what India considers to be its territory.
Trump said in a Tweet “the United States had told China and India that it was ready to mediate their “raging border dispute”, the first time ever Trump has tried to intervene into India-China diplomacy.
