An Indian woman died after falling from a building in Sharjah, quoting Sharjah police, the media was told. An official said police are investigating the incident. The woman was reportedly a housewife. The case is suicidal in the preliminary enquiry by the police. However, Sharjah police is investigating what could be the cause of the incident. The police are also questioning the woman’s family and all her people.
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene as soon as the incident was reported and found the woman died on the spot after falling from the building, the police official said. He was pronounced dead at the site after an investigation by the paramedics team. The official said the woman’s body has been sent to the hospital for forensic examination.
The woman is close to 20 years of age. The woman also had a child, her child and husband in her family behind the woman. The Indian consulate in Dubai said it has come to know about the incident and is trying to gather more information. In a second incident on Sunday, a 26-year-old Indian woman has come across a similar case of falling from the 16th floor of the building.
