Under this scheme, the government provides financial help from the birth of daughters to their graduation. The government provides a total of 15 thousand rupees to these daughters at different stages. The purpose of this plan is that no one should consider their daughters as a burden, but rather to make their future bright. This scheme has been linked with education and health of girls, which will improve their future. The government has kept a budget of Rs 1200 crore for this scheme.

Benefits of Kanya Sumangala Yojana (Uttar Pradesh Kanya Sumangala Yojana)
Under this scheme, the government bears the expenses of studying poor daughters. This includes Rs 2000 at birth, Rs 1000 for completion of one year vaccination, Rs 2000 at the time of admission in class-1, Rs 2000 at the time of admission to class-6, Rs 3000 at the time of admission to class-9 and tenth and twelfth 5000 or a lump sum will be given on admission to degree or diploma course of two years or more after passing the examination.

Certain conditions of the scheme (Kanya Sumangala Yojana Eligibility)
The annual income of the family under this scheme should be a maximum of three lakhs or less. Maximum two girls of a family will get the benefit of this scheme. If a woman gives birth to twins at the time of her second delivery, the third girl will also be eligible for the scheme. Applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
