A woman from Kochi has come forward with a complaint that she was tied up and raped by a friend while on a business trip abroad. The complaint of the woman from Kochi is that Ahmed Abdullah, a native of Nadapuram, called her to her residence on the pretext of business. The complaint of the young entrepreneur is against the woman’s family friend and businessman Ahmed Abdullah, a native of Nadapuram. He called the woman, who was a permanent resident of Dubai, to her residence in the name of discussing a new venture. The incident took place on February 4. In the complaint filed by Atijiwetu, it is stated that he was tied up and tortured for hours when he came home.

Although the incident took place abroad, the woman said that she is filing a complaint in Kerala fearing the influence of the accused. In the first stage, the police did not want to take the case and tried to settle by offering 25 lakh rupees.

The woman said that she had lodged a complaint with the rural SP against the misbehavior on the part of the Nadapuram police. Nadapuram police informed that since the accused is currently abroad, they have started the process to bring him home.
