Kuwait City: Strict traffic control continues in Kuwait. A total of 29,604 violations were found during the week-long inspection campaign. 60 vehicles and 50 motorcycles were seized and shifted to the garage.
The inspection was conducted on the direct instructions of Major General Yusuf Al-Qadda, Assistant Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations Affairs.

Apart from arresting traffic violators and reckless drivers, 27 minors for driving without license have been handed over for juvenile prosecution. Security officials arrested 10 people. During the searches, three people were arrested on criminal charges and for possession and use of drugs.
